SmartPack-BDG™ takes premium sustainability a step further by offering consumers a choice in the environmentally-conscious disposal of their used packaging. This innovative product can be recycled in many municipalities, or can simply be thrown in the household garbage to start the biodegradation process.
Once SmartPack-BDG™ enters an active landfill environment, it begins to biodegrade, leaving behind humus (biomass) and methane gas. Many municipalities across North America are benefitting from biodegradation in landfills. Captured methane gas can be sold to power and natural gas suppliers for alternative energy use.
You no longer need to choose between traditional packaging formats and a smaller environmental footprint.
